Copper River Catch - King Salmon

As I've said earlier, the Copper River Wild Salmon harvest is heavily monitored closely throughout the season. This strict monitoring, catch quotas, and restrictions work for everyone's benefit.
By limiting the harvest, we keep from over-fishing the waters, and we can insure a continued healthy stock of salmon returning to the Copper River area year after year. Of course, limiting the harvest keeps the demand high (and yes) the prices up. But they should be. This is a short season catch - the King are the first to arrive to Copper River each year ahead of the Sockeye and Coho.
